First Coast Tea Party Backs Mike Hogan for Mayor of Jacksonville

Republican Mike Hogan has earned the endorsement of one of the most politically active groups in Duval County. The First Coast Tea Party, with 10,000 members, has formally endorsed Hogan for mayor of Jacksonville.

“What a great honor to be endorsed by the First Coast Tea Party. We share the same passion, dedication and devotion it will take to restore fiscal order to our city government. The First Coast Tea Party is made up of every day taxpayers who are fed up with wasteful spending and abuses at city hall. I am proud to stand with them as we work to turn Jacksonville around,” stated Hogan.

Hogan attended the First Coast Tea Party’s first Mayoral & Congressional Town Hall last week and introduced himself to the crowd by emphasizing, “I am a God fearing, freedom loving, American Patriot. I am a states’ rights advocate, a strict Constitutionalist and believe the best government is less government.”

The First Coast Tea Party’s endorsement adds to the growing number Hogan has already won such as  the Jacksonville Association of Firefighters, Concerned Taxpayers of Duval County, North Florida Building and Construction Trades Council (Split w/ Brown), Filipino-American Political Alliance - Florida, First Coast Apartment Association, Florida Apartment Association, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, Korean Association of North Florida, North Florida Central Labor Council, Retired Employees Association of Jacksonville, Senator Steve Wise and Representative Mike Weinstein.
