The Jacksonville Public Library, in partnership with Remembering for the Future Community Holocaust Initiative, hosts Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race on the fourth floor of the Main Library December 13, 2010 through March 13, 2011.
 
Deadly Medicine examines how the Nazi leadership, in collaboration with individuals in professions traditionally charged with healing and the public good, used science to help legitimize persecution, murder and, ultimately, genocide.

Stage Aurora's 100 Youth Voices present Motown Christmas

Florida Youth Program to Graduate 158 Teens Saturday

Florida’s Youth ChalleNGe Academy is run by the Florida Department of Military Affairs and the Florida National Guard. Designed on a military model, 16- to 19-year-old high school dropouts encounter a rigorous five-and-a-half month residential phase.  These teens are given a second chance to earn a high school diploma, but this is the first class in which the Academy has partnered with St. Johns River Community College to offer college credits to the students.

Grace And Truth Community Development Corporation Hosts Holiday Event

On December 10, at Gateway Town Center. starting at 4pm Grace And Truth Community Development  Corporation. Is hosting a performance of, The Jacksonville  Symphony Youth Orchestra Quintet.  The newly formed North Brookside Community Gospel Choir will open and close the concert.  There will be a special performance of a scene from the Nutcracker, performed by Expressions Dance of Jacksonville an African American dance school featuring children and adults. This event is a Free Community Concert to celebrate the Christmas season. The Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra (woodwind quintet) musicians will perform for 45 minutes.
