Trinity Rescue Mission Prepares 1,500 Meals

The Trinity Rescue Mission will launch its "More Than a Meal" concept on Thanksgiving Day, preparing 1,500 meals for men, women and children - Plus - services such as haircuts, phone calling, hygiene kits, clothing, inflatables for kids and more. "More Than a Meal" will begin at 10am, Thursday, November 25. All meals and services are free-of-charge.

10am - 1pm - Volunteers preparing the meal

Tuesday - Nov. 23

10am - 1pm - Volunteers preparing the meal

Wednesday - Nov. 24

10am - Giant tent to be setup over the parking area

Thursday - Nov. 25

10am - "More Than a Meal" service stations open (haircuts, phone bank, hygiene kits, etc.)

1pm - Thanksgiving Meal is served

Dozens of volunteers will be working several days before Thanksgiving to prepare the meal and many volunteers will be providing services on Thanksgiving Day. The meal and services are made possible by the hundreds of people who financially support the mission and donate food for the holidays.

Mission Director, Jim Kilpatrick, stated, "It is so exciting to have the privilege of feeding hungry and homeless men, women and children on this day. In a time when many people are struggling financially, we have a place for them to find care and food."
