J.P. Shadrick Resigns as Suns Broadcaster

The Jacksonville Suns have announced that J.P. Shadrick has resigned as the Suns play-by-play broadcaster to accept a full time position in public relations and broadcasting with the Oklahoma City Red Hawks of the AAA Pacific Coast League. The Red Hawks are an affiliate of the Houston Astros.

Commenting on Shadrick’s departure, Suns President and General Manager Peter Bragan Jr. stated “As do our players, sometimes one of your guys moves up. We wish J.P. well in his pursuit of a broadcast position in the Major Leagues.”
